Healthy protein porridge!

If you're anything like me then as soon as the weather becomes colder I'm all about snuggling up on the sofa under bundles of fluffy blankets and eating food... Yep, any food I can get my hands on! When it's dark and cold though it tends to be something warm... Pie and mash, hot chocolates, apple crumble - you know exactly what I'm talking about. So I figured for breakfast I needed to come up with a porridge which included some protein but also something fruity to satisfy my never ending sweet tooth! Here it is..

Boil kettle and add water to saucepan, throw in 30-50g of rolled oats and wait for water to adsorb. Then add in one-two tablespoons of low fat Greek yoghurt, a handful of chopped strawberries, and a squidge of honey! Finally I serve and finish mine with a sprinkling of cinnamon.

I personally add a scoop of protein to mine however this is completely optional!

Super sweet easy porridge - enjoy!

  1. This is so weird, I literally make the EXACT same thing! I'm an avid cinnamon lover. I love adding bananas in too sometimes if I'm feeling a little poorer in the week! Student life! Lovely blog too! xx
